A beginner pottery workshop to make your own stoneware planter pot, using a handbuilding technique.
Perfect for birthday parties, hen parties or just to get creative with your mates!
We will be exploring different textures in clay - imprinting flowers, cut out shapes, leaves, stamps into the clay to make your own unique planter, using a handbuilding technique. The outcome is really beautiful and they are much easier to make than using a pottery wheel.
Your pot will then fired and glazed in a colour of your choice and be ready to collect within 2 weeks.
The planter you make can either be for a small succulent or for a medium sized plant eg. a herb pot.
Each session will last two glorious hours.
The workshops will take place at my studio on Clifton Wood Road, there is free off street parking.
The studio is family friendly, but this workshop is more suitable for ages 16+.
To be able to have your own pottery session you will need a group minimum of 4 people. I take classes of up to 8 people altogether.
Before you buy tickets please email/call me first about which available dates we can do and to ensure you have the minimum amount of attendee's.
